Wednesday weigh in...

Starting weight 318
Last week's weight 271
This week's weight 268

Yay, I'm down into another 10's space AND 50 pounds down. Whoo hoo.  I started C25K last week and it's actually getting a little easier. We changed it to Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday because I need to be at work at 730 in the morning on Wednesdays for a staff meeting each week.  We're also extending the first week's C25K schedule into the second week...because...well baby steps.

This week has been ridiculously busy. We're doing vision and screenings tomorrow and I've been trying to get prepared. It's kind of crazy...There are 820 students and we're going to process half tomorrow.

If I ever hear someone say school nursing is easy again, I may poke them in the eye with a fork :D

Will hopefully catch up on my favorite blogs this weekend.

Or I may be comatose...

  1. Woo hoooo...that loss is awesome! I can say that our school nurse does NOT have an easy job. She works her tooshie off. However, I spent 14 years at a school where the school nurse VERY little. I had a kid once who had a terrible pressure sore (after coming back from summer break) and I asked her to come in the bathroom and look at it and document. She said she her job didn't include dealing with pressure sores. The nurse at my school now is awesome....love her.

  2. Great stats! Good plan on the C25k.
Will send happy-vision vibes your way.

What are you talking about? School nurses: sit around eating bon-bons all day. I can't believe how much they get paid for passing out bandaids and tylenol. (YEAH right: we had about 60 kids come through today, not including 2 drug evaluations and one SRI: high with transport required).

  4. Wowee! That is terrific, you must be walking on sunshine! I think your pacing with the C25K sounds very smart too, and I'm so impressed with you doing that. That is a future goal of mine. :-)
